Decarbonization 2023
A Cadilhe & Santos Lda aims to contribute to the decarbonization of the industrial sector and the transition to a carbon-neutral and circular economy. In this sense, and also trying to mitigate the impact that rising energy costs have on its activity, the beneficiary company intends to invest in the installation of solar power generation systems, benefiting from renewable energy sources and reducing production costs. That said, as a result of installing equipment to produce electricity for self-consumption from renewable energy sources, it is expected that there will be a reduction in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions of 30.5%, as well as a reduction in consumption of the same order.
