DECARBONIZATION
Energy transition
Contributing to the efficient decarbonization of the industrial sector is one of Cadilhe & Santos' current challenges. As part of our drive for energy efficiency, we have chosen to switch to green energy rather than fossil fuels. We thus prioritize renewable and clean energy sources, which emit only what the planet can safely absorb.
Our energy transition involves structural changes in energy production, consumption, and storage models to achieve greater sustainability. Cadilhe & Santos has recently invested in installing systems to produce electricity from solar sources for self-consumption.
This decision has not only a tangible impact on operating costs, but also on the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.
Commitment to energy efficiency in the industrial sector
Aiming to reduce CO2 emissions, we promote energy and resource efficiency through helpful technologies like solar panels.
